Broccoli Cream at home
Hi friends,
How to make Broccoli Cream at home? Here is a simple recipe to share with you. It is a great appetizer and can be made quickly any time.
## INGREDIENTS
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ cup celery, chopped
- ½ tablespoon of butter
- ½ tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 broccoli head, chopped
- ½ green apple with peel
Method
In a large pot, heat the oil with the butter. Add the onion, celery and garlic, cook until the vegetables are soft. Add broccoli, apple, water, vegetable stock, thyme and white pepper. Cook over medium low heat for 35 minutes or until broccoli is soft. Process the mixture until you have a smooth soup. Serve hot and if you wish to accompany it with a bread with pressed cheese.
