The Guitarist: Artwork + Process

Music plays a big part of my life. I picked up a guitar recently and been practicing here and there, and I am so stoked to get skilled in time.

process

sketch:

I use a sharpie pen to doodle. I rarely know what's going to come out here, I simply get out of the way and let the line flow onto the page.

line + paint:

On Procreate for the iPad, I took a photo of the sketch, and of me playing a c-chord, and used them to ink and paint. This step was about two and a half hours, with the linework using up most of that time. I then edited it into five minutes. Audio is courtesy of BenSound.com.
