Prove yourself in battle. Earn the favor of the King.
The King has sat upon his throne long enough.
It's time to see what you can do with him on the battlefield. 😎👑⚔️
I'm launching a new King Erminaz Twincleaver community challenge, and this time there are no riddles to solve, no names to draw from a hat, and no complicated hoops to jump through.
There is only one thing the King demands:
VICTORY.
To complete The King's Challenge, you must take King Erminaz Twincleaver into battle and prove that you know how to wield him.
⚔️ THE CHALLENGE
Your task is simple:
Win 3 battles using King Erminaz Twincleaver in your lineup.
Battles from ALL FOUR formats qualify:
- ⚔️ Frontier
- 🛡️ Modern
- 🔥 Wild
- 💀 Survival
Build around him. Find the right rulesets. Exploit his strengths. Let Pinpoint tear through enemy defenses. Let Reprisal punish anyone foolish enough to strike your forces. Or whatever other strategy you can conjur up.
And, most importantly...
WIN.

- Play and win 3 separate battles with King Erminaz Twincleaver in your lineup.
- Save the battle links for all three victories.
- Post your three battle links in the comments below.
Complete those three victories and there is no raffle and no luck involved.

There are no exact statistics you need to hit and no checklist for earning the King's Favor.
Maybe Erminaz completely dismantles an enemy formation.
Maybe Reprisal creates absolute carnage.
Maybe he turns around a battle that looked completely lost.
Maybe you discover a combination with him that I never even considered.

The awarding of The King's Favor is entirely at my discretion, so a particularly spectacular battle may earn you that second copy — but it is never guaranteed.

Alright, got my three wins in here pretty fast, I wanted to do one from each mode, but already had my daily missions complete for modern for the day, so you got an extra frontier battle... but the last one is the real show off!

Let me set the scene for this third battle:
-Survival expert modern bracket V
-Bot rated at 5000 (180 more than where I'm at currently)
My King, level 2 and doesn't even have the devastating double strike yet, kills half the field and takes out a maxed Commander Slade with the final killing blow, enjoy:

Well, I don't think the battles are particularly impressive, unfortunately, but I love King Erminaz! It's a very effective hammer.

Another one in Modern
This battle in Modern has a particularity that it were only Melee cards. So it was an opportunity to place two sneak hammers in the back and a bunch of opportunity cards. In that sense, King Erminaz and Sehrringham Logger make a great team decimating my opponent's back.

Heck, I even use it in Survival!
Although this is not a particularly good battle, the effectiveness of King Erminaz makes it a great card for Survival. By the way, I love to combine it with Incessant Sage summoner because he gives to all cards and extra +1 Armor and that is something that King Erminaz unfortunately lacks. But with that combination it makes him great not only to attack but to defend against your opponent's blows.

Conclusion
I love how versatil King Erminaz is in battles, I can combine him with other sneak cards as in the Modern battle, use it as a tank or just as protection for your rear line. I use it all the time and have fun with it!
