Why Civilizations resist CHANGE?

It is a reknowned fact that civilizations resist change no matter how beneficial they are. It is because of the fact that Human beings adjust themselves according to their Habitat. They no longer feel need to change their living habit. They would even call the change evil in order to avoid it. But ultimately the change wins the race and it make its way into the society.
Truth is, if a man never changed, I won't be sitting here writing this using my Android and you people might not have been able to read this.
