Let's talk about SHIELD
Many players underestimate the power of the shield. But it can work well as the divine shield against non-magical decks.
With only ONE shield, you can block that devastating attack against your monsters and guarantee an important survival in combat.

Adding health and attack before it started, we were both at 25 health and 9 attack. But she gained 1 more life for each monster and I gained 1 shield for each one.
Look at the first hit, only 1 shield stopped that strong attack from Unicorn Mustang and this is awesome.
In this other replay, it was crucial not to get eaten by Mustang.

And this time I lost by the enemy's shield.

I know, bronze league, no modification to the standard gameplay rules, but you can see how the shield can be decisive.
