Traditional pork broth, savory and rich.Boxer Ramen
Pork belly, soft-poached egg and scallions.

I went to Boxer Ramen in downtown Portland, A 4 minute walk from my school. The pork belly was dope, broth had great flavor and they put squid ink or something on top. Eggs was soft boiled and had runny yolks, mmmm. Noodles weren’t my favorite but they weren’t bad.

The location was in this random hallway of stores in the middle of downtown. Pretty neat.

This was the final day of my first week of school, and the moment I decided I would treat myself to ramen at the end of every week that I complete. Ramen and these lunch outings have become very soothing for me at the my current point in life. This was about 2 weeks after I dropped everything and moved out to Portland to attend Epicodus here in Portland.
