Work in progress character

I had one bird character that I had tried to salvage and I think I would use a different brush for its outline hoping that it will give a nice texture

The old bird character I made for a Christmas theme challenge I want to salvage it and give it a neutral theme. This is the revised bird character I kept the hat with jingle bells and the scarf for the winter cold

I was drawn to this deep orange color and immediately pick it for the scarf which is supposed to be black I think it is working well for the idea I have

The orange could work well with yellow or mustard so I am keeping it to color the vest

I need something to balance the vibrant orange and mustard so I think a plum and dusty blue would help. I stopped here and will review later if I still like the palette. What do you guys think?
