INSPIRED BY NOTHING

Sitting sitting only just sitting
looking far and vastly yonder
the leaves I see, only just hitting
makes me sit and still yet wonder
if ever I'm to draw strength from nature
It's so not inspiring me today
so owning my very slim stature
I'll rather sit and think up nothing
cause every thought of life
is linked to memories of self
and every thought of this earth
is marred by images of birth
so today I'll sit sit and only sit
and be inspired by nothing.
