What do we know about lithops?

In my collection there are such unusual plants as lithops, they are often called living stones. All the lithops that live with me were bought at a local store and brought from Holland.

I tried to plant lithops from seeds, but they all did not live up to the first molt. I think I chose the wrong ground. Perhaps I will try again in the fall, as I still have a lot of seeds left.

I am not sure that I am properly caring for lithops, because I prefer not to buy expensive varieties, but train on those that are.

In theory, the basics of lithops care are very simple, but even the most experienced collectors have misses and losses.

If the leaves of Lithops lose their pattern or stretch out, this indicates insufficient illumination. If the leaves are cracking or there are problems with molting, the irrigation regime is likely to be disrupted. Shop lithops are often prone to overfeeding.
