Alibaba Thoughts?

Looking to purchase a few things from Alibaba in bulk but I've never used it before so I was hoping some of you guys could give me your thoughts. I just want to know roughly how long its takes if the products look the same on the app vs in person and if it works as in the products actually show up given its a wholesale thing and most manufacturers are out of China? I'll be purchasing some leather sneakers which will later be painted in different colorways I'll probably share the results with my fellow Steemians as well if they turnout
