Javier Bardem demonstrates solidarity with Ukraine

The actor joined the protesters on Thursday in Madrid. He took part in a demonstration in front of the Russian embassy. This Spanish actor called the actions of the Russian armed forces brutality, and accused Putin of imperialist aspirations and extreme nationalism.

“There is something ironic about this, that with his intervention and form of action, he himself is more like a Nazi,” he said in an interview with journalists covering the demonstration.
