Ecroche Drawing

Just shareing my most recent Ecroche. Learning and perfecting anatomy takes time so every once in a while I stop and do an Ecroche drawing like this, to keep my illustrative anatomical knowledge sharp. An Eroche as a special type of drawing in which you draw the human figure without the skin.

Sorry for the wrikled page my cat sat on my drawing as soon as I finished it. Naughty kitty! This was made useing copics and blue pencil for drafting.

This is the oringal image which I used for a reference. Sorry I can't find the name of this artist. If your looking into trying out an Ecroche for yourself its important to grab a good anatomical reference book. I always reccomend Artistic Anatomy by Richer Hale. His illustrations are clean and clear and gives good 3 point turns arounds.
