Still craving Japanese food for 5 days straight. "Haru 春" themed dishes at Sushi Tei.

You would think that 34 consecutive days of Japanese meals will surely be enough for me. ;) Well, it seems like I'm not quite done with my cravings yet. Here's day 5 of yet another Japanese dinner! 5 consecutive days. I can't explain the cravings btw, when you yearn for something, you just need it. :)

It's back to the basics for me with some sushi and udon. It was quite a late dinner too, so I didn't have to wait for any of the Friday dinner time crowds. My restaurant of choice was Sushi Tei. I find this chain of sushi restaurants to have pretty decent sushi overall. It doesn't quite manage to beat any of the specialty Japanese eateries but it is a cut above most of the Japanese sushi chains.

There was a seasonal menu for Spring (since that's the season now in Japan) and I thought it looked quite interesting and decided to order something from that. The Hanami Blosson Roll (lobster salad sushi roll topped with half-broiled salmon and pink pomelo) was what called out to me from that menu and I decided to go with it. The rest of the meal was a pretty standard udon with slices of beef shabu, some tuna sushi and my favourite chanwanmushi with ikura.

I left feeling really satisfied with having satiated my cravings. It's TGIF, and I wonder what the weekend will bring. More Japanese food? Or will my cravings be finally appeased? :)
