Defining and understanding Children

A child is considered within the confines of the law as a human being that is below 18 years of age. (though in some jurisdictions children are considered to be those below 16 years of age) who have not attainded adulthood and cannot be held liable for his actions. From another perspective, they are considered as strings of human parents ,who have not attained the puberty age. Some schools of thought conceive human beings, from the time of their birth to the teenage era as children and given by religious and medical view and positions, they cannot be wrong, for children by whatever parameter they are defined and pigeonholed, cease to be children at the doorstep of the adulthood, which coincides with the elapse of the epochal adolescence, which is most likely attained at 18 years of age. At 18 years, both biological and physical changes in the children body redefine the child, and send convert and overt signals that beckon on adulthood to overthrow the saintly and innocent spirit of childhood.

Generally several times have been designed to define children, viz: teenagers, adolescent, juvenile, youths, young stars, atc, but irrespective of these, the irrefutable traits that defines children is their innocent, pure, and blank mind, which makes them tender, loving, forgiveness, and cheerful, qualities that make Christ charge that they be allowed to come to him, as the kingdom of his father is theirs. by virtue of their age and mind, which is in state of tabula rasa.

Devoid of innate experiences, and open to infusion both from human and natural sources, children are a specie that should be handled with care, and nurtured in confines fenced with discipline, and purified with love.

Children are like the tendrils of yam, which need stakes and gentle direction to the stake, if a bountiful yield is to be expected, otherwise, allowing the tendrils to prowl on the ground, without care and attention, breeds nothing but scanty harvest.

The staking process and the careful redirection of the tendrils scattered over the farm is a difficult task that calls for courage, potential, diligent, and hard work, and not all farmers possess these virtues, and the absence of these very relevant traits in a farmer, spells doom and a gloomy harvest for him. The same conditions apply to the upbringing of children. Without diligence, patience, perseverance, care, and untiring effort on the part of the parents, the desire to breed children that they will proudly declare as theirs, will end as wishful thinking
