She said Yes!
Well it's been a couple of weeks since it all went down, but I finally popped the question to my better half. In fact I even did it without the official engagement ring as I wanted her to design it. Instead, I purchased a place holder ring and coached my 2 year old daughter to the dirty work for me at the right moment while we were walking around the lake down at our holiday house. There were tears and then straight back to reality as we were instantly chasing after the 2 year old when she took off chasing some ducks! Wouldnt have it any other way!
Anyway the ring has been designed, built and now been delivered to its rightful owner. It is exactly what she wanted!
Women being women, the wedding planning was full steam ahead within minutes of us returning to the holiday house! Haha
