Premier melon de l'année 2017 / First Melon of the year 2017

J'avais hâte de le gouter, avec une pointe d’appréhension puisque que le temps n'a pas été très ensoleillé ces derniers temps./

Il était temps de le récolter car avec ces jours pluvieux les limaces étaient de sortie. Malgré un piège à bière déposé dans le jardin, elles ont tout de même préféré le melon./

It was time to harvest it because with these rainy days the slugs were out. Despite a beer trap left in the garden, they still preferred the melon.

A la pesée, un beau melon de 1,477 Kg. Très juteux et savoureux mais cela dit il manquait un peu de sucre, très certainement à cause du déficit de soleil.

At the weighing, a beautiful melon of 1,477 Kg. Very juicy and tasty but it lacked a little sugar very certainly because of the lack of sunshine.
