Sometimes I get really close and personal

So close that even the smell is different.

The petals had their layers laid, planned in a compact way.

Then they grow and move, expanding as they increase in size. Every day presents a vastly different version of yesterday's beauty, all pointing toward a state of being. Being full.

Then the waiting begins. Visitors in route to steal some sweat reward while perpetuating my China Rose for next year and future generations.
