Here is a little thing about our Tuberculosis Campaign
What is Tuberculosis ??
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that affects the lungs. Tuberculosis is the second biggest killer, in the world
In 2015, 1.8 million people died from the disease, with 10.4 million falling ill.
In our campaign we mainly concentrated on the awareness of TB and how to prevent it
As many before us we believe that prevention is better than cure!!!
With proper treatment, the vast majority of cases of tuberculosis are curable. Without proper treatment, up to two-thirds of people ill with tuberculosis will die.

TB is primarily the disease of the lungs but it affects other organs also like lymph nodes, brain,bones, spine and even genitals.
We have DOTS(Directly Observed Treatment, Short Course) program for TB run by the government in Nepal and the medicines are free and the patients takes the medicines under supervision. AND DONT FORGET ABOUT SMOKING JUST AVOID IT IF YOU CAN.
Thank you!!!! We also have the same DOTSprogram for TB, which was also told in our campaign posters, but since we did it in the state of Tamilnadu,India, our posters are in the regional Dravidian language Tamil
