Is technology making us emotionally weak?

Ever since the arrival of social networks, getting to new relationships has become exponentially easier. But because of that, many people are starting to lose the ability to understand what makes a true relationship last.

Most people these days seem to get offended by any negativity or challenges they come across, when it comes to relationships, be it friendship or romance. That could be because moving from a recent relationship to a new one hoping that you will find the perfect person one day might seem easier. But that's not even possible realistically. We humans have misunderstanding and different interests in our lives and even though those interests might not be common with the ones that our partners or friends have, we should learn to respect and understand why such things are important to them.

Cutting off contact nowadays is also becoming very usual, It's like people just don't want to go through the challenges of a relationship and just give up after the first small conflict...

Psychologists of Steemit, is there any types of studies being done to understand this phenomenon, if so I would gladly love to hear about it. Because this type of behaviour worries me for the future of humanity.
