​¡Saludos y abrazos! Les cuento que por aquí, por mi natal Santa Clara, se ha estado desarrollando una pequeña Feria del Libro. Ayer fui invitada a un espacio peculiar que llamaron "La ley del mejor esfuerzo", el cual consistía en una lectura a modo de competición de minicuentos.

​Aunque me considero poeta, me atreví a estrenarme como narradora. Les confieso que con un poco de temor, pues mis compañeros de lectura sí son excelentes narradores, sobre todo los que me acompañaban en el equipo. Sí, nos dividieron en dos equipos ¡y hasta disfrutamos un poco de rap!

​Realmente disfruté mucho el espacio y la invitación. Por aquí les comparto el texto que leí, el cual forma parte de un pequeño libro para niños que estoy escribiendo, así que me encantaría conocer sus opiniones.

PRIMER DIA

Fue un día cualquiera como casi siempre pasa. Mamá apareció cartulina y precinta en mano rumbo a la puerta de la calle.
A cada rato —y sin previo aviso—, amanecemos con algún que otro cartel en la puerta: ¡SE RENTA ESPACIO!, ¡SE VENDE REFRIGERADOR!, ¡SE HACEN MANUALIDADES!, ¡SE FORRAN LIBRETAS!
Lo colocó con cuidado, bien arriba, para que llamara la atención y dijo:
—Vamos, que es hora de desayunar.
Allí quedó el gran pedazo de cartulina, con sus letras robustas y coloridas:

SE COMPRA MÁQUINA DEL TIEMPO…

Greetings and hugs! I tell you that here, in my native Santa Clara, a small Book Fair has been taking place. Yesterday I was invited to a peculiar space they called "The Law of Best Effort", which consisted of a competition-style reading of mini stories.

​Although I consider myself a poet, I dared to make my debut as a narrator. I confess that with a little fear, because my reading companions are excellent narrators, especially those who accompanied me on the team. Yes, they divided us into two teams and we even enjoyed some rap!

​I really enjoyed the space and the invitation. Here I share with you the text I read, which is part of a small children's book that I am writing, so I would love to know your opinions.

FIRST DAY

It was an ordinary day as it almost always happens. Mom appeared with cardboard and tape in hand heading to the street door.
Every now and then—and without prior notice—we wake up with the odd sign on the door: SPACE FOR RENT!, REFRIGERATOR FOR SALE!, CRAFTS ARE MADE!, NOTEBOOKS ARE BEING COVERED!
He placed it carefully, high up, so that it would attract attention and said:
—Come on, is time for breakfast.
There remained the large piece of cardboard, with its robust and colorful letters:

A TIME MACHINE IS PURCHASED…
