Fire in the disco!

A friend/coworker of mine held a bonfire tonight for all our summer staffers who are going back to college next week. I don't typically do group gatherings, because of my social anxiety. And this was stressful at first, but turned out to be fun!

Of course campfires require this staple. Does anyone else like to set their marshmallows on fire? The caramelized crust is so gooood.

This fire was so soothing to watch and listen to.

THIS monstrosity, which my friend's son couldn't resist starting, was not. :P

The funny part about the latter fire is that MAYBE 5 minutes after starting it, the heavens just opened up and began pouring. Apparently, the gods wanted no part of his trash-burning shenanigans. It was a decent way to end the night! LOL
