my trip to the beach! 🌴
hello! sorry for being so inactive on here. my summer so far has been busy so I apologize.
I'm going to be talking about my trip to the beach this summer and I'm going to include pictures I've taken too!
we stayed at a house for a week and it was me, my sister, my friend, dad, brother, and grandfather. it was a really big house too so I was excited to stay there. :)
me, my sister and friend slept in a bedroom together bc the bed was basically a king sized one. at first the trip was good and the weather was nice but a couple days later a tropical storm hit. we weren't directly in it though so that was good. we just got over 4 inches of rain so we didn't go to the beach or anything until the upcoming friday. there were tornado warnings and everything too and a couple of them hit near us but luckily a tornado didn't hit directly at us.
I didn't take a lot of pictures bc I kinda forget too sometimes! but we ate out at different places every night and went to the movies on one of the days it was raining. we watched "47 meters down" and I thought it was an okay movie. it's like a typical shark movie except these two girls went cage diving and the chain connecting to the cage broke so they went 47 meters down in the ocean!! it was scary honestly. it was also sad bc the two girls were also sisters and the younger sister died bc a shark ate her when she was trying to get her and her sister more oxygen tanks (the people driving the boat dropped the tanks for them). the older one ended up getting saved though but it was still not really a good ending.
I have more of these pictures but this one is the most decent one lol we were driving so I couldn't take a proper picture but it was really pretty. the place we stayed at was near a lake and every night the trees looked like this. :)
oh! I took these when I was waiting on my dad to pick me and my friend up bc we decided to go look at the waves. the waves were literally over 6ft tall! it was crazy. I didn't swim at the beach almost the entire week bc the current was really bad. I'm also not the best swimmer sooo lol
these are really the only pretty pictures I took of the beach that week. it was the first day we got there so the weather wasn't bad.
we also went on the pier! I couldn't take that much pictures bc it was really dark and I was terrified. I have a big fear that the pier will fall and that I'll drown in the ocean omg. it's ridiculous bc the pier has withstood hurricanes but I'm still scared of stuff like that. anyways I'm never going on the pier again :))))
and just a pic of my dog before we left. he's cute so I just added him. anyways that's all about my trip! thank you for reading !!! <3
