An early spring

Where I live it is usually still winter this time of year. However, spring seems to be coming early. I have seen many spring flowers over the past few days including these periwinkle.

And these crocuses. They are usually one of the first to flower but this year they have more competition.

And finally Forsythia. These bushes are another early bloomer with loads of yellow flowers covering the branches. I only saw this single flower though.
