Workout certainly can help to increase confidence as long as you find success in what you're doing. You need to set realistic goals to achieve success. As you continue exercising and begin to reach your fitness goals; you feel more confident than when you first started.
Exercising in any form is the most underrated stress buster and mood elevator. How long it takes to feel the change depends on how long you take to do it happily and willingly.

Say for example, you join the gym and have to start your day and hour or two earlier because of that. Initially you will hate getting up early, will workout a little hard in over enthusiasm and will fail to enjoy gym time truly.

But once you get used to the routine you forget all the hassles and only focus on your body when working out, that is when you will feel the difference .As you exercise with focus everyday, you will feel negativity and worry leaving you and you will be infused with energy and positivity.

Exercising as little as 10 minutes a day can help you feel stronger, look younger and enchances your mood. When you feel good about yourself, you automatically get more confidence. this will make you improve your self image both physically and mentally.

I'm glad you are working out more :) Which exercises do you enjoy most?
These are not your images and you haven't credit the photographer who took them. Downvoted.
hi @lordwise, being new you may not appreciate that using images that do not belong to you, without giving due credit to the owner of those images, is frowned upon on Hive. It is quite simply copyright infringement. Please be sure to always use only your own images (and then state that they are yours) or use royalty-free images and use proper image sourcing citations on Hive to credit the photographer/owner of the images. This requires playing a URL link back to the image source so that readers can see who took the photo.
I have upped my own exercise routines recently and I can concur... that the more you exercise the happier you feel... and the more you want to exercise... it's a wonderful cycle to get into! !PIZZA
