Enjoying a Pineapple Rum Runner

Hello, friends. A few days ago I bought a pineapple since I wanted to make some drink with it and yesterday was when I decided to get creative. Here I share with you this pineapple rum drink.

Ingredients:

• 100 grams of pineapple (more or less).
• 2 oz (60 ml) white rum
• 1 tablespoon of honey (about 15 grams)
• Ice cubes
• 50 grams of water

For this I would need pineapple juice, something I didn't have, but it doesn't matter. I took the pineapple, peeled it (I will tell you what I did with the peels later, in another post), cut it into slices and took two, the base slice and the crown slice, from which I removed the core and chopped it into smaller pieces. Then, I added the water to facilitate the blending, the spoonful of honey to sweeten a little and the white rum.

With all these ingredients in the blender cup, I blended them for about 20 seconds. Then I strained it to remove any bits of pineapple that were left behind.

Before testing how well my drink turned out, I decided to put some ice cubes in a glass and pour my drink in it. I managed to get about 200 grams of this drink.

To give it the final touch I put a small piece of pineapple in the glass. Now the drink was ready.

The pineapple gives it a super fresh touch and a delicious flavor, the honey gives it that sweet spot that makes you want more. No wonder it tastes so tasty, as pineapple is very exotic and versatile.
