Aesthetic lighting exercise [ Art process included! ]

Lifes been quite busy so i dont have many hours to render things so i do these quick color exercises to get myself up to scratch and unrusty all my general skills!

laying out the basic shapes

refining with more definition

adding the main objects in

Little ornaments or foreground detail

adding the lights

After adding your basic light shapes, you can make them shine with the add linear or add glow tool on a different layer.
this is also color dodge in other programs

Take it up an extra notch and we're done
