All It Takes Is Basic Research,

It’s curious, when people say Linux isn’t necessarily immune to viruses, they always seem sure to exclude crucial information like:

Most Linux users are not going to download random malware online.
There is simply to many distros to infect the entire distroverse widely.
Most Linux users are going to be prone to “Intercepting the user.”
And in the case of the article, Linux being prone to anything is a recent development, as Microsoft has been trying to absorb Linux for years.

This one guy asked my help on solving a virus problem, and he basically turns around, and tries debunking Linux as being the superior operating system.

I’m sorry, the evidence simply isn’t on your side.

Windows sucks.

So to continue to say things like "Linux is prone to viruses" is less about Linux, and more about the general technical ignorance of people that say such obvious bullshit.
