From time to time someone asks me to tell a "funny" story that has happened to me during my travels. I never know what to say. So I decided to take a trip down memory lane and register some of the things I don't want to forget and some of the amazing people I've been lucky enough to cross paths with.

Mona's Reataurant, Cat Ba, Vietnam (2017)

A bit of background here. Two years ago I went backpacking in New Zealand and Australia after almost two years with no break from work. Those 35 days resulted in the biggest turning point in my life so far. My original idea was going back to work for six more months, save some more money and then hit the road, but things went a bit faster than expected. Two weeks after I landed back in São Paulo I was handing my notice and booking a one-way ticket to Europe. Since then I've been living this life.

Some places I just passed by, others I stuck around a bit longer - found a job or volunteered, created some roots, established something close to a routine. Morocco, Portugal, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland, Uruguay, Argentina, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.
A girl, 2 backpacks, 16 months, 18 countries and countless lessons - the most important one being that I would not be here if it weren't for other people, strangers who inspired me to believe I could this without even knowing.
