The Baby Bird Flight Coach
Hello friends and community members. It is so fun to participate in the ECCENTRIC STREET CHARACTERS challenge for Week 1 and the prompt is The Baby Bird Flight Coach. I decided to draw this gentle mentor because it is so nice to think about someone teaching small birds how to fly in the park.
I love using the soft brown color for his hooded robe and the nice green for the weathered park bench because it makes the scene look very peaceful and natural. He is sitting cross-legged with his arms outstretched like fragile wings and it brings me a certain mood of joy and warmth. It is very fun to imagine the cool breeze blowing by while he makes soft whistles to encourage his little bird friends. I am dreaming of sitting on a quiet bench just like this one and feeling a very deep sense of calm while watching the world go by. I hope this drawing of the flight coach brings a happy feeling to your heart today
