As usual Sunday is also special for cooking something special at lunch or dinner time . Today I cooked Split chickpeas with chicken . I often cooked it with gravy but today I cooked without too much gravy . I want to share my recipe with all of you so let's start the process .
Ingredients
Half kg split chickpeas
Half kg chicken
Onions
Ginger garlic paste
Tomato
Green chillies
Green coriander
Spices
Salt
Turmeric
Red chilli
Cumin seeds
Black pepper
Garam masala
Dry grind coriander
Process
First I soaked split chickpeas for one hour then boiled separate in the pan . At the other side I cut onions tomato and green chillies .

After this I fried onions in the oil then added ginger garlic paste and chicken in the fried onions . I also added tomato pieces and mixed well .

Later on I added whole spices in it and cooked for 5 minutes adding half glass water so that chicken cooked in the gravy .

After cooking chicken gravy I added boiled split chickpeas in it and mixed well both .

I added one glass water and covered with lid . So that split chickpeas mixed in the chicken gravy . At the other side I prepared tarka of onions garlic and cumin seeds then spread above the split chickpeas . I also spread green coriander and green chillies at the last with garam .
