Blockchain Email; Time for Advanced Mail Transfer Protocol?
Ok, so what most non-tech savy people don't know is that sending Email is like sending a Postcard to its destination via several transparent mail boxes. It can be intercepted and read relatively easily by anyone in the chain of delivery or with access to any one of the servers it hits on the way.
The current Email Protocol is Simple Mail Transfer Protocol or SMTP as an acronym. Since we now have the Blockchain, should we not start thinking about Advanced Mail Transfer protocol's, an email system on the Blockchain ?
This new protocol would ensure the safe, secure and 'unreadable in transit' message to its destination without any additional encryption bolt ons.
