I got a job 😅

Finally....
1 month shy or my year anniversary being unemployed I attended an induction day for my new career in waste management. Sounds great right. From Monday I will be a Dusty! Aka Garbage man.

From my research it's a highly in demand job with great benefits. I'm looking forward to the challenge. Starting work at 6am , working outside in the elements.

I recently attended a security guard training course and was actually surprised at the number of people who said they would NEVER want to work as a dustbin man. I found that quite odd.

Having spent time working on farms, working as a barman, and working as a plumber the last 12 years I can honestly say the worst job was being behind the bar. Closely followed by working on construction sites.

In conclusion I am happy.
Time to embrace my new career in sanitation.
