AN OVERVIEW OF MYSELF: WHAT A CIRCUS LIFE I HAD PRIOR TO MY CURRENT LIFE

Hello! Hello! I am grateful to introduce myself to everyone with a huge smile on my face. 😁 I am grateful to my friend for encouraging me to join and share on this platform, which seems to fit my writing skills somehow.
My name is Mari, and I was born in Cebu City, Philippines. I was raised around Visayas and Luzon. I am the eldest and I have one sister and two brothers.
I could say that my life is like a circus; it is full of happy and sad stories to tell.
I spent 5 years of my life in Cebu before relocating to Pangasinan,North Luzon, Philippines, where I completed my elementary education.
After 3 years, my family moved again to Paranaque in the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines. I was in the 1st year of high school in the 3rd grading period. We stayed there for 2 years, and again, in my 3rd year of high school, I transferred again back to our home place in Cebu.
But my parents brought us to my grandparents’ place because we were not yet settled where to live, and so, again, for the last time, I was transferred again in my 4th year of high school and graduated in Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines, and continued my college journey.
My life is like a circus.😔
It's not that my parents are irresponsible, but it is because my father was brought by their company to many different areas in the Philippines over a long period of time. As I've said earlier, it's years and years of staying in one place.
Now, as I grew up, I had so many realizations brought to my mind that life is difficult. So many struggles, ups, and downs. Yet, God is always with me.
When I entered the married life, there were still so many struggles we faced. After our wedding day, I accompanied my mom to go to the hospital the day after and have laboratories, CT scans, etc. No more parties in our house because we've done it at the reception.
My mom was admitted to two different hospitals. Before that, we even brought her in our province for a few days to breathe fresh air. And after that, we brought her back in the hospital. Three months after our wedding, my mom passed away, and so I'm really broken up. 💔
My heart twists like it's divided into pieces. I was really hurt. We even didn’t talk heart to heart when she was still alive, and now she’s in her tomb, and I'm crying in tears and asking for apologies because we did not catch more time with my mom because I already moved to another place in the province. And I missed her so much.😭
Aside from this matter, my life is like a circus. I brought a child into the world and raised her to be the best version of herself every day as she grows up, despite the fact that my life is like a circus these days because there is something about her that is very different from her age.
Her behaviors aren’t appropriate and unusual, so we went to the doctor, and there, I was really hurt again, and also his father was.
She was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and my heart was like shattered into pieces again. Every day I need to give a lot of patience for her and need to give her the most attention a child needs. And she's starting occupational therapy twice a week. Sometimes I am lacking sleep because she sometimes wakes up at dawn and does not sleep again until morning.
Now, I stay at home with her and my husband, and yes, I am just a housewife with an ASD kid. I also hardly ever go out for myself because my life has become a prison where no one comes to see me at home. If someone is in need, they simply come here. I am alone doing everything: household chores, laundry, washing dishes, and fixing my kid’s mess every day over and over again.
I could say my life is now facing so many battles right now. Yet I am still grateful that my husband is there to encourage me to live life and to be happy.

Welcome here on Hive Community! Looking forward to read more of your post. Just keep looking on the good side of your life especially you have a daughter now. Everything happens for a reason. Just keep more stronger to face the trials that always come unexpected. For me, life is much harder if we keep thinking the bad side that happen. Good day! I hope once a week you have a me time or have a relax.

You're welcome! I also experience pressured and exhausted sometimes. But I always focused on just what happening now. And stop overthinking of the things that the control is not on my hand.

I'm really trying to quit overthinking things and start having time for myself, even if it's just around the house. And start making plans to go out with my family so that I don't get bored here all the time.
You can have every Sunday bonding with your family. Just focus on the present. At least one hour or more hours so that you won't feel exhausted.
