Women and technology
Not so nice, a young industry and already tainted with juvenility and sexism. Even in the relatively young blockchain space, women are still being objectified, conferences are held at strip clubs and booth babes are still a thing. The article puts it pretty well:

It's a good thing we have people like Dr. Jane Thomason to inspire us women aspiring to get into the Blockchain world. In this article she brings up some very important points regarding women in the technology field in general and blockchain technology in particular.
We don’t have enough serious women role models in blockchain. The ‘wonder woman’ in tech is not very visible and this needs to change
She wants to get more women to see that there is a place for them in the tech world, for example by co-founding The World Blockchain Academy for Girls and encouraging girls to embrace their skills in science and engineering. A great read for anyone involved in these fields.
