Digital painting on Infinite Painter
So I got this gig from a lady - who is a model. She needs some digital paintings done for a cover magazine which I agreed to do. I saw it as a chance to market my work also and I didn't think twice to jump at it.
I've been testing Infinite Painter because of the features and all. Which is quite nice and also the amount of brushes you can paint with. I'm still in a learning phase so I'm not quite there yet but I'm getting the hang of it.
I started with the hair. This was not quite much work as it was pretty straight forward. It was just to fill the base colour and stroke a few highlights with the tapered inker pen and blend them in with the soft airbrush eraser.
I also started painting the face

My Greatest challenge is getting the right colour palette, it still is. And I'm giving my best to overcome this issue. I was able to create a suitable one for this though and it kinda worked out. The way the light shadow blends with the base colour instantly makes you know that this is it!
From here on, it was pretty much straight forward.
The process

This was the final result. How was this?
