Celestialchallenge Light and Objects

I wanna express my gratitude to #sirknight for this Platform.
I wanna discuss the relationship between objects and light. First of all light rays can be refracted, reflected, scattered or absorbed.

Refracted rays: Light passes through an object and bend at an angle from the angle of projection e.g glass, diamond etc mainly through transparent objects

Reflected rays: Here, light comes off the surface of a smooth object usually in the degree from the source ie equal angle of projection and reflection e.g one sided coated glass, mirrors

Scattered rays: In scattered rays the light bounces off at many angles because the surface is rough e.g the earth

Absorbed rays: In these rays, light is neither refracted or reflected. It is absorbed into the object. Light can also penetrate the object e.g wood, man.

Finally the way we see objects is determined by its interaction with light. Thank you
