Taking The Dalmatian On A Trip

We only went an hour away from home but it was a fun trip for Ted the dalmatian. Yesterday really proved how great a dog this is!

Before leaving Ted got a nice bath. I tied his leash to the porch and basically hosed him down after soaping him up. I think he enjoyed it because he just chilled and didn't give me any trouble. He got a brand new collar with his name and an air tag in case he gets lost.

He was a bit scared at first in the car but he was well behaved and quiet. He snuggled with me on the arm rest in between the seats. Once at our relatives house Ted stayed by my side and was calm and quiet. He was such a well behaved little guy.

Even at home, where I go he goes and he stays right by my side. I love hiking with him and I feel safer having him nearby in case there are coyotes or other animals out and about.

He's such a beautiful creature and I really love having a dog again after owning only cats and ducks for so long.
