DEC Going Down?

I have been watching the DEC to Hive trade almost daily as I like to play into selling DEC at a high in terms of Hive and hopefully buy back at a low. The last 24 hours there was a big dip in the price but it has since recovered. Whether the trend is actually down remains to be seen but its it would be a great time to be watching the two currencies as there is good potential for arbitrage.

Main reason for the DEC to Hive swap going down is because Hive price is rising. There is greater demand or simply people willing to pay more for Hive now than in past months. The low for Hive maybe priced in but relative to DEC its still pretty positive for DEC. I would consider swapping Hive into DEC if it fell back into the range of 0.005 Hive per DEC.

Fighting against the higher price in Hive is the lower prices of DEC. With reduction of DEC supply over the past weeks and continue overall decline it is my guess that DEC prices can remain high relative to Hive. However DEC is far from par value and it may take a lot more removal of supply for this to all shake out.

It is worth noting price of DEC is rising relative to dollar even though it is falling against Hive. Ideally everything going up would make it more interesting but for now with this arbitrage between Hive and DEC I will take it.

It's interesting to see the price, but DEC is supposed to be like a stablecoin. So it makes sense that it reacts to the Hive price, and I am glad you are able to take advantage of that arbitrage.
