Genus Creatonotos

Today has been a truly extraordinary day, as my older cousin got married. The wedding festivities were lively, starting in the morning and continuing well into the night. I had to put aside a great deal of my primary work on the plantation, but it didn't matter, as attending this wonderful event was a priority. Later that evening, while my family and I were sitting in the hut in front of the house, I spotted a stunning moth perched on the hut's roof structure. Although I have encountered this particular type of moth many times before, I always seem to find them at night. Its beauty—from its shape to its colors—never fails to captivate me. When viewed up close, one can see distinct black markings on its body and a pair of antennae that look quite charming.

What fascinates me most about this particular moth is what happens when it spreads its wings wide. Beneath the wings—specifically on the upper back—there is a brilliant orange hue that looks truly stunning. However, this beauty is only visible when the wings are fully spread; when they are closed, the color is hidden from view. It is, in essence, a hidden beauty.
