Turdus philomelos

Today, I was kept very busy with numerous household chores—ranging from cleaning the yard and tending to the plants to gathering firewood with my mother. At exactly 4:00 PM, my mother asked me to go to the edge of the forest to collect firewood; this is a monthly routine for us, as firewood is something we really need. While I was cutting some small branches, I was suddenly surprised to discover an egg that looked very unusual. It was tiny—most likely belonging to a house gecko or a lizard, though I couldn't say for sure. In terms of appearance, the egg was primarily white but covered in black speckles, which prompted me to take a photograph of it.

I wasn't sure if these eggs were still viable or not; at the time, I simply wanted to take a picture of them. To this day, I remain traumatized by tiny eggs like these—especially house lizard eggs. I once found four of them inside my house and accidentally crushed all four in my hand, an experience that left me terrified and disgusted—one I still remember vividly.
