The Abyss

In the depth of the midnight
down by a pretty stream
I saw the lovely moonlight
reflecting in the water
all my dreams and schemes
A young girl appeared to me
She "Would you like to see
how lovely dreams can be?"
This was a bit of a surprise, you see
Then she said "Your dreams will make you free"
She bade me to look into the stream
then when I did she pushed me in!!
She was probably a young female Viking
They can get a bit frisky sometimes.
Gotta love them!
We all gotta learn to swim in the Abyss
we were born in sometime.
