Introducing myself
Aye, siwmae. Is it just me or is YouTube pushing everyone a way.
As I'm sure many of us have, I've been using YouTube well, over a decade. Over the years not only have I learned more then I learned from our education system, but I also shared many laughs with family and friend because of YouTube. I honestly can't imagine the person I would be without its inception. I think it is a shame the shape YouTube is in today, and feel for the people who are going through a difficult time, due to smaller content produces not being able to meet the requirements to monetize their channel. I fall into this group of content creators although, I don't uploaded regularly nor have a following; even so I feel it is a waist of my time and effort to keep supporting a broken system that isn't planning on giving me any return on my invested time. I'm not saying Steemit/DTube is then next big thing although I wish it so, I do feel it could be a healthier alternative to YouTube.
Disclaimer: I have been using Steemit for a bit over two weeks now, and just like I did with YouTube I plan to NOT upload regularly and I'm NOT planning on making any money if I do that's a bonus I'm just here hanging out. Have fun everyone and spread the word about DTube & Steemit!
