The Climb Was Worth It: A Little Hike, a Beautiful View, and Good Company

‎The climb was tiring... But with every step upward, the view became more beautiful. 🥰

‎Our destination that day was our friend's home in Dubai, Polangui. We would watch JW Broadcasting, so even though it meant hiking a little farther, we were happy to make the trip.
‎
‎Getting there wasn't as simple as taking a ride and arriving at the doorstep. We had to make our way uphill, following the road toward their home...

‎As we continued climbing, I started noticing the scenery around us. 🩷
‎

‎The road going up was quite steep, so the hike was more tiring than we expected. It was especially challenging for those of us who weren't used to walking that far, or walking on such an incline. 😅 After a few minutes, you could already feel your legs asking for a break. 🤦🏻‍♀️🫣

‎Ryzen was the first one to make his way up. He kept going ahead of us, although he would also keep saying, "I'm tired!" every now and then. 😆 I guess being tired didn't stop him from wanting to be the first one there.
‎
‎Whenever we started feeling tired, we would stop for a while. And since we were already quite high up, we could see the greenery and the beautiful scenery surrounding us.
‎
‎It felt like the view was rewarding us for every tiring step we took. And as you can see in the photos, there was plenty of green scenery to admire along the way, making it easier to forget, even for a moment, how tired we were.

‎After that tiring walk, we finally arrived at our friend's house. And as expected, everyone was already there waiting for us. 🫣 We were late! Haha. 😅

‎Despite that, we quickly settled down so we could start watching the JW Broadcasting together.
‎
‎As we watched the program, one thing that stayed with me was the importance of having family worship. It reminded us that it allows families to strengthen their relationship and help each other grow spiritually.

‎After the broadcast, we enjoyed the simple snacks we had brought and prepared.
‎


‎
‎Of course, we spent more time telling jokes, answering each other's silly questions, laughing together, and catching up on what had been happening in each other's lives.
‎
‎It was just a simple gathering, but after the tiring walk and the beautiful views along the way, being together made the whole trip feel even more worthwhile.
‎
