Is ether being manipulated right now?

There's a lot of action going on the ether market right now. Or my exchange is broken. That being said, the chart below should be a cause for concern for anyone.

I've never seen the market look like this before, at least one that has a considerable market cap. Has anyone else?

I'm Still hodling for the right price point, but I think I'll sell my (extremely small stake) in ether as soon as it can get to the $300 level.

As a reference, this is what the 5 hour period looked like 24 hours ago....
