A photographer captured enchanting pictures of stars shining above a town blanketed in mist after climbing Malvern Hill as temperatures plunged in the UK.

The photographer was surprised when he climbed 300 meters up the Malvern Hills to see thousands of stars shining overhead above the clouds.

The combination of mist and starry sky made up a series of stunning pictures that made the town look like a fairyland.
