It is an important thing to see how our lives is going daily. In all our lives, what actually determines our future is the words we speak. You're not a failure until you announce it. You're not a disappointment even when the devil drives you into a pit, but the moment you declare with your mouth, so shall it be.

_**So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say. Numbers 14:28.[NIV].**_ God cannot carry your words and act for me, so don't ever live your life by what others speak.

In order to succeed, don't be careless in speaking, because your neighbor is speaking negatively. This is the weapon the devil is using to frustrate lives. If you don't live by the word of God, you end up living by the word of men, and that can only amount to disappointments.

Most people today are consumed by the reports they give about themselves.

_**They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land. They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.” Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” Numbers 13:26-33.[NIV]**_

The Israelites were able to enter into the land and were even able to plug their fruits, they went back unhurt to make a bad report that they will be consumed by the descendants of Anak if they go out to fight. They failed to realize that the God who exposed the contents of the land to them was telling them to go posses it. I would ask, if those Anakins were so powerful and fearful as the Israelites reported, why then were they able to take from the land their belongings without being killed and consumed?
You see, sometimes the fear we allow to overwhelm/overcome us stands to destroy us. Fear of the happenings around us, fear of what people say about us, and even fear of what we lack knowledge about. Most of the words we speak because of what we see is nothing but inspiration from fear.

_**There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1John 4:18[NIV]**_

You can't succeed in life or love correctly while operating under the platform of fear.

_**Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it? Lamentations 3:37[NIV]**_

Whatever someone or the devil speaks against or concerning you, you have the rights and authority to accept or reject it. Man's negative speakings concerning your destiny cannot stand when God Almighty has not given an approval and commandments of such.

You have to use every opportunity that you have to take action when God Himself has also taken action.
David in the Bible didn't go to fight Goliath with sword, but the moment Goliath fell face down, he seized the opportunity to finish the battle using Goliath's weapon. David overcame fear, he encouraged himself with the word of God even when his brethren were all out discouraging him.

How are you being treated by life and events around you? The power to overcome that negative situation is deposited in you. You have to activate it by yourself through the words of your mouth, for no one has authority of words over you when you're aware of how powerful your words are.
