A Castaway (Depression)

Dull billows of hopelessness moving above,

Darkens the pinnacle of mount despairing.

Encompassed by a harsh ocean of misery,

Floods of hardship slamming all finished me.

Where is this place I have landed?

A castaway in a far away land.

Shorelines of unhappiness and hopelessness,

Awesome distress in each grain of sand.

I truly need to escape here,

Assemble a pontoon from my fantasies and expectations.

Leave despondency there on the shoreline,

Furthermore, break free of these overwhelming heart ropes.

Misery is no giggling issue,

Downfall isn't an extraordinary show.

Be that as it may, no impact of obscurity can shut out the light,

Only one match can influence a space to gleam.
