i think steemit should let users deposit steem in their accounts not only bit coins ethereum and bitshares,,,,,
lets say someone bought steem what do he do with it??? the reason he bought steem at the first place was because he wanted to put steem power on his account///...

You can. Just use your user name on the site as the address you're sending to.

Ignore the deposit page. Just go to wherever your steem currently is and send it to your user name. So go to Bittrex or Poloniex and send your steem to mianeri.
