Cancers of the female genital tract including cervical.ovarian, uterine and choriocarcinomas affect the female and possess phenomenal health issues. The need to offer preventive measures where feasible will be considered.
Benign tumors i.e. innocent growth of the womb are rampant . uterine fibroids, otherwise called leiomyoma, afflict is a good percentage of women of african origin. They coupd grow to giant sizes if not attended to in good time .the scourge of infertility, anemia, problems in pregnancy, labour and delivery can be avoided if dis condition is diagnosed early and managed accordingly.
Infertility, overfertility and family planning will be cinsdered. The high rate of pelvic infections, postponement of child rearing till advanced age and inappropriate contraceptive use, compound the issue of infertility.on the other hand, early marriage, unbridled procreation and avoidance of contraceptive use which often results in large family sizes take their toll on the health of women and family budget
