Pilot Peak Hike

So I went to try and make it to the top of Pilot Peak, NV, and failed. But I did have a good time and captured some nice views

The hike was brutal. There is no established trail. It was either going thru the vegetation, or straight up a boulder field. I chose the latter

It was very steep and treacherous. You really had to watch your footing or risk rolling an ankle or pulling a muscle from sliding on loose rocks

The snow capped Ruby Mountains are in the distance

I think I have a better strategy for reaching the peak next time. I will climb you one day, you beast of a mountain
